Item Description

This fabric screen printing ink starter set includes 6, four-ounce jars of black, red, blue, white, green and yellow fabric screen-printing ink. These inks are iridescent and best for use on dark fabrics of cotton, polyester, blends, linen, rayon and other synthetic fibers, as nicely as paper or cardboard (not for use on nylon). Inks can be screen printed or painted on with brush and cleans up readily with water. Wash fast when appropriately heat-set. Non- flammable, no solvents and no offensive smell. AP non-Toxic conforms to ASTM D-4236. Archival qualities. Produced in USA.

Like all their items, the ink set I got operates fine for what it is, and is above all economical. The ink is a small thick for my liking but can be thinned with water or particular ink thinner, or water. The color is crisp and vibrant, and so far the prints have not broken down, but I have not washed them other then to test the heat setting however. The ink does heat set if you iron it on a medium-high setting with no steam for about 5 minutes. I don't have a press yet, so I don't know how they work with that. The pack itself comes with six simple colors that look superior on all color shirts so far that are not the color of the ink itself. Why you would ink the identical color as the shirt I don't know, but if you do it will appear a bit off. The thickness of the ink makes printing light colors on dark material easy, although the opaque set would probabily operate greater.
